My other mini project. . .

Just thought i would throw this up there and give you xr/crf guys another idea for your mini motards/stunters. I bought this thing a few months ago with the plans of giving it to my nephew for his 3rd birthday but his momma said no way!!!!!!! I plan on doing a budget restomod and throwing some street tires/headlights/signals/plate on it for trips to the C-store and the boat ramp. The motor is the same as the current fiddies so if I ever get it plated I'll throw an 88cc kit in it to pick up top speed a little bit. Should make a fun little project IMO. These Z50's are a lot sturdier than the new fiddies(IMO of course) so it should handle many more years of abuse. here she is, bone stock unmolested 1996 Honda Z50R . . .

I just rebuilt the carb and changed the airfilter and this little thing runs like a top!!! as soon as i can quit riding up and down the boat ramp I'm going to do an oil change and work on the cosmetics a little bit.

I got an electric start 110 cc motor in my "50" right now. Has about 20 hours on it. I'll trade you straight up for the 50cc motor. My 110 has too much power to wheelie well, which is why I bought my "fiddy" to begin with. You'll get e-start, a charging system to run lights, a battery, kill switch, coil, cdi, and about 35 - 40 MPH with the right gearing with the 110 motor. Right now it goes 25 MPH, but power wheelies. Needs to be geared up. Sprocket Specialists can make any size for about $25.

It's still in the bike if you want to test ride it.

Send me a PM if interested.

If anyone's actually following this thread. . .I just snagged a set of NEW 300EX 7/8" clamps off of e-bay for less than $20 shipped that will allow me to bolt up normal handlebars to this bike(the stockers are welded in a fixed position). Now i need to snag some bars. . . Keep an eye out for this thread and watch this bike transform on my strict budget!!
