redline in 1st gear is like 70ish for me.. atleast i think, all is breaking loose around that time in the rpm so im focused on whats ahead of me lol not what my speed is

If yall are talking about indicated speeds without a speedohealer (heck, even with) you are not seeing 100mph. Most bikes can be off as much as 20 mph at that speed.

wrong tom. ALL 04ish-current liters (minus the cbr) will do 100+mph in first. the zx-10 will do 105, gixxer 105ish, r1 will do 101-102. they all have very tall first gears to help with launching. don't believe me? look it up. it's all very well documented.
