Respect to Mayweather , wasn’t even close I hear (haven’t seen it yet).
Too much class for our boy Hatton I'm told.

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

yeah, anybody that actually steps into the squared circle (regardless of the result) deserves respect. This is why I have a hard time watching fights at bars, all the dickheads calling one or the other guy a p*ssy or saying how much they suck this, how slow they are that when the fact of the matter is, most of the guys talking wouldn't go 2 rounds with the average amateur, much less a top tier pro the likes of Mayweather or Hatton or even a Castillo. Respect to both fighters, props to 'Pretty Boy' Floyd for a helluva career (undefeated). Guess Hatton's gonna reconsider going up to 160 to fight B Hop...!?!

+1 and some,
huge respect to both and Mayweather deserved the win.
I hope Hatton can come back from this "lesson" stronger and smarter.
There's speculation here that he might retire !!
Hope not.

i still can't stand floyd. what a talented douche. smart boxer. the only reason i watched this fight was cuz of hatton. i hope fm retires like he says he is.
Lol, why would you really want to lose such a talented boxer? I enjoy watching great boxing regardless of the guy's personality. I think he (Mayweather) needs to give my boy Cotto a shot, after that, then he can retire.

I have to agree with you, there's not that many talented boxers to begin with so I'd hate to see him retire but...........much like Ali.......sometimes I sure wish FM would shut up. I suspect that as long as there is good money to be made he'll keep fighting.....and there are still some good BIG fights for him.
