Rider Dead.......

Motorcyclist found dead in ditchThursday, December 06, 2007 | 7:08 AM HOUSTON -- A motorcyclist is dead after crashing his bike in a ditch in north Houston overnight.

The man wasn't discovered until hours later when a big rig driver spotted the biker in a ditch on West Hardy near Aldine Bender. Investigators say the man had been dead for hours and they don't know what caused the accident.
The man was not wearing a helmet and the southbound lanes on West Hardy remain closed while police investigate.

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

I'm sure not wearing a helmet kept him from suffering for too long.

A passing motorist found the body of a motorcycle rider early this morning in a ditch along the West Hardy Toll Road, authorities said.

The victim was spotted about 3:45 a.m. in the 15200 block of the toll road between Beltway 8 and Aldine Bender, police said.

The victim apparently lost control of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, which careened into the ditch and came to rest near a metal fence.

The man's identity will be determined by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office, police said.

I don't, but in the news report this morning I saw a lot of chrome...I'm assuming a cruiser as opposed to a sportbike and they said the rider was not wearing a helmet.
