im looking at possibly doing a swingarm swap from a vegas, or hammer.... i have a 08 kingpin and id like to throw a 250 tire out back and get a custom rear fender made. i have been reading that all the frames between the bikes are the same, so i figured id be able to do this swap fairly easily.

I could be mistaken but i believe you can put an arlen ness 10.5" wheel on the back of that bike without modification(this allows for a 250 series tire). . .let me do a little digging and i'll get right back to you.

I must be mistaken, for i can not find that info anywhere. . .I know Ness sells wide wheels for victory 250 conversions but i could not find it online. Give me a little more time and ill see what i can come up with.

have you signed up on any of the victory forums? I know there are ness wheels out there to convert from a 180 to a 250 but i guess there not applicable to the kingpin. who sold you the bike? have you called the parts department to ask them about options? often times the service managers are more aware of what fits and what doesn't b/c the tech's are the ones who go through the trial and error headaches if parts are inaccurate. If you want i can give you a number to call and a knowledgeable guy to ask. . .not sure what all he knows about the 08's though

on the other hand you could just call arlen ness and act retarted and ask if they have a conversion for your bike.

for accessories check out
http://www.santarosaveetwin.com/ another option to the ness pipes
http://www.mbwmotorcycle.com/ nice LED signal/taillight options and side mount plate holders

well from what ive been reading, i may be able to do a simple swingarm swap from a vegas/hammer, along w/ the offset pulley and a custom rear fender w/ different mounting for the fender.
