there was a guy in Humble/Kingwood area I was warned to watch out for. He had a black stock integra and would put a 150-200 shot of nitrous on a stock motor in races. Blow it, and pay to have a new one put in. I just stayed away from that area.

Chris, my dad built a del sol with a B16 in it, turbo everything, had it up into the 400s in whp until he quit working there. The guy stayed loyal to the shop instead of the mechanic, so I don't know what happened after that. Del Sol is #2 for me behind the CRX. So much fun, and the pop a top is cool.

Someone say imports?

Why did ya go from a B20vtec to a D16 though? just wanted to try 9's with a single cam or what? I'm sure ya can guess what my setup was.

I blew the B20/Vtec, a wristpin retaining circlip failed and sent the cylinder #1 wristpin through the cylinder wall. I've never built a D-series before, and being that parts for them are really cheap and easy to find, I figured I'd see how much I could squeeze out of one. That, and nothing's cooler than saying 'Yeah, I just raped you with a single cam non-vtec d series'.

I figured. I was thinking about doing that for a while, but decided I just wanted eveyday reliablitly. I was gonna do a BIIIIG nasty turbo that would take way too long to spool up just to have fun on the highway.
