unfortunately, when you die the ultimate decision of whether or not you donate organs falls on your family. you can sign whatever you want when you're alive, but they can still say no.

Really that is kindof sorry. Why is that? I mean why the heck would your family want to keep your organs unless you are johhny homes or something.

Yea I know and I keep telling her. People see my license are think "wow you're a donor", and I think not really because they won't sign for it. :/: Okay I am done with the passing and will talk.

Maybe you're not a bad person for that, but I bet that little girl would feel differently.
as the mother of a son who was burned over 80% of his body, I know how I would feel about that! If it wasn't for donor and cadaver skin my son would have died from mass infection while awaiting for his remaining skin to heal in order to graft the rest of his body. I'm an organ donor...everything must go haha. After whatever organs that are viable have been takin, the remainder of my body will be cremated.

I strongly suggest that anyone over 18 set up a will. Even if you think you have nothing to leave to anyone, it atleast is set up to provide your final wishes. I have mine along with letters to family and extremely close friends all placed in a safety deposit box for when that final day comes.
