so i went down

first of all i would like to apologize for not showing up at the benefit sunday ride cuz i went down on sturday and my bike is not running.

So i got off of work saturday at 10:30 p.m. and met with carlos (he is on motohouston i just dont remember his screen name) at the shelocks on 59 and 1960 and took of to 242 and then hit 45 and he took me to louetta and somewhere else, well it was foggy and really misty. He was infont of me and i saw his rear tire sliding and then when i got ion that curve i felt my rear end really loosenad then my rear tire started to slide.....ppphhhuuuccckkkk man i cant get that ****ing sound out of my head when the engine rev down...thats when i knew i was gonna eat it...so i went down the bike slide off the road and end it up on some dirt but when i hit the floor man it was lights out next thing i remember i was laying down on the middle of the road.....i didnt want to move cuz i tought i was gonna hurt so i started with on leg then the other then one arm then the other and then i knew i was "ok" when and looked at the bike and well it will take me a while to get back up and running.

I was wearing jeans, some converse, my mesh jacket, gloves and helmet. When i hit the ground i could swore that my head hit really bad...but theres no scratches opn my helmet, the jeans....well it seems i landed on my left cheeeekekekkeke cuz that pocket its shreded adn the wallet got ripped off.

i got little biit of rash on my right knee but man by its killing me.so on the bike i got a broken handle bar...the front upper cowl is broken the cluster is broken, and some minor crakcs on the tail fairings...

Man i was going that fast and wasnt try to lean to hard...i feel dissapointed of my self cuz i think i didnt do anything wrong and shait still went to , dude its a really crappy feeling.....

Well i just wanted to shear and give an explanation on why i didnt show up on sunday

I'm sure it was a crapy feeling. The good thing is, is that you walked away from it. Cheer up, it could have been allot worse.

+1 on you being okay.

Why isn't it acceptable here in the US to wear leather pants? It seems in Eorope that no one rides without full kit. I've got a pair that I try to wear as much as possible and I can't help but feel like I'm overdressed when I go to bike meets and group rides.

Gee thanks. I'd rather be uncool than in a hospital for a skin graft anyways
