I think it is a cool idea! There needs to be a few guidelines!

1. Post pics of your own bike! Not your brothers, friend's or buddies.
2. Bike's ONLY!! No pics of girls/guys with the "Here look at me" syndrome.
4. If you win, you can not submit your bike again for 1 full year.
5. After 12 months, we use the winners from each month and do a bike of the year.

I have seen this work well... Its about pride in your ride...

We used to do an MH'er of the month with the prize being a gift certificate or oil change from Motorcycles Unlimited.

I wouldn't mind sponsoring a bike of the month prize, I'd even be willing to help coordinate it.

I agree with a lot of the guidelines already presented;
If you win, no re-entry, every month 10 bikes can be entered, that way everyone gets a chance to enter.

You can't enter consecutive months.

Judging is done by anonymous poll, voting is limited to members with at least 2 months under their belt to prevent fraudulent voting.

I wouldn't do multiple categories, IMO if the bike is clean enough, it'll win regardless of the genre it fits into.

HAHA! It is indeed. Are they known to leak? Hee hee- Daddy will find out soon enough. He only bought it to ride to the rally in South Padre every year. It'll sit in his air conditioned sun room the rest of the year. Some people are weird. B

+1 Sounds like a good way to handle it. The idea has my vote FWIW.
