Here is the Schedule for Dec 16th

Sunday Street Race

Time:4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Locationrag Strip

Fun and grudge racing without the worries of a red light disqualification. Race your car in the most "on-the-street" style of racing available. When you pull up to the starting line in your own car, you will only get a green light letting you know to GO! Test your reaction skills without the amber light warning or countdown.

Sunday night is a great night to bring out your street car or even full blown race car and run the quarter-mile. You will receive a win light and your own car's performance on the top end of the race track along with scoreboards showing the elapsed times.

Times:
Gates open 4:00 pm
Lanes open 5:00 pm
Lanes close 10:00 pm

Prices:
Car and Driver $20.00
Crew/Spectatpors 10.00
Kids 12 and under FREE

This is the Last day of the Street races untill early Spring .
I was gonna Say... LONESTAR is going through major issues with its ownership and was closed for the rest of the season and has a LOT of people !

Was a good track to go to though. Could only muster a 11.30@127

I would do HRP just wanna know how much to rent leathers...

Edit: We should get a group together and do the "Texas Mile" Thats what Im talking about!

To help support the event the Saturday before we'll do a 23 point Pre-Race inspection, chain lube / adjustment etc. for $17.50.

I'll also put up a $50.00 gift certificate for the fastest in each of the following sizes of bikes: 600, 750, 1000 and 1100cc up.

I'll get with Popo and have him keep track of the times.

dude, thnx Patrick...

Ill try to bring it in for the 600 class...

also, why do you need a chain guard? If the chain broke on my bike, it would go RIGHT THRU the chincy plastic one my bike came with.

My pleasure!

Actually I've seen the stock chain guard deflect a chain that has been thrown. It's a good rule.

I am gonna bring my 1000 also...I haven't ran it yet so.....I know the clutch is a little grabby and its stock height and length so I am not expecting much....I figure I can go some 10.20-30s on it, maybe some 9.90s if I strap it but the rear will still be stock height.......Should run some decent mph though...

I am sure your light weight will have me covered though, especially on an 06 vs. an 01...... Should be fun..I just don't want to cook the clutches right now....I need to keep it running for a while.

Thats some pretty good mph.....mine just dynoed 154hp sat. so I know it should pull some decent mph, its just trying to get it through 1st gear without looping it that will be hard...LOL I have a buddy that used to have an 01, slammed, strapped and an air shifter went 9.30s-9.40s@148 on Nuetec spec 4.....That was a completely stock motor, even stock exhaust and muffler....1.52 60's stock wheelbase. Ofcourse the rider was 150lbs suited and had mad skills but....

I am not making a drag bike out of my 1000, its a street bike/twistie bike but I will run it just for fun and competition with the board members here....
