Honestly its A LOT harder than what I thought... I would be looking at the light... looking at Brena (jk)... then I would try not to jump the light ... then think about taking off but not to fast so that I would not do what JOE and CHRIS did 12'oclock the bike... then going down the track and shifting gears and again try not to raise the front tire... then what I thought was one of the harderst parts which is putting your feet back up on the bike ( i just finally left my right one down...then trying to shift right before red line... then as quick as a blink, Its Over... wow its so awesome tho... Im addicted

Chris you were riding the wheels off that lil sucker.....I heard it hit the limiter a time or two, I thought you missed a gear but.....11.00 is not bad at all but it will definetly go 10.80s on a good clean run. Get your 60' down in the low 1.70s and hit all the gears and you're in the 10s. Thats really good considering your no light weight on a small bike thats short and tall. Robert did pretty well also on his WWII bike considering it was his first time to the strip. Lots of 600s showed as well as that 750 gixxer, that lil was haul azz.....10.20s out of a 750..

Looked like everyone had a blast, glad I got to meet those that I did. Great turn out, too bad it was so freakin crowded. We need to do it again after the first of the year.

I agree, it is harder than I thought. I think the biggest thing is that I would pull up to the line, start thinking about what I need to do, and before I knew it the lights are going down to green! And I think I was soo excited that I would choke and not shift properly cause I was having soo much fun!

that's where the gear indicator mounted right below your redline location helps if you don't have a PCMIII shifter. You know which gear you'll end in the quarter, when the needle disappears behind the gear indicator, you shift...

I have alot of pics too... gotta photobucket though, give me some time...
And if you want any of them emailed, lemme know...

OK so here's my best TIME, coulda been better if my reaction time was lower and MPH higher like on the other runs, but that just goes to show u consistency in this is everything. Click image for larger version

As for the advise, i know how 2 get faster but I can't do it myself , still afraid to wheelie, but once i set my bike, which should be sometime this week, i'll be all gravy baby. U guys did EXTREMELY well for this being u 1st track experience. All it takes to get faster is the right set up and SEAT TIME.

Keep it up!
