Dead man switch has a tether that goes from your engine kill switch to your wrist, so if you fall, then tether will pull the switch killing the engine. you can either make one or buy a nice billet one. You don't need one though until 10.90s I believe. Each track is different on that.

Here is a pic of my billet kill switch, it splices into the factory kill switch and has a "plug in" tether, if you fall, it pulls the plug, killing the engine.

LETS Drag Race Those Dynoed Bikes!

LONESTAR is an IHRA sanctioned dragstrip and is in the IHRA Division 4 region.
Track Length: 1/4 mile with 2,100 ft. of shutdown area and 3 turn offs.
Track Prep - LONESTAR has long held a reputation for being a track that has exceptional traction. We take pride in consistently giving our racers the best possible track preperation!
Don't worry 1/8 mile racers as we will still have weekly 1/8 mile races too! Our ability to offer 1/4 mile events will make LONESTAR a more appealing track to all racers!
LONESTAR is available for rental to private individuals and race teams as well as car clubs and to promoters of special events

I will call the track tomorrow and see about using it.
for now its a Tentative List.

no doubt......let me know when and if I don't have my son, I'm down just to see what I can do......

I drag raced cars for about 6-7 years so it'd be fun to get back on the track.

I used to live 10 minutes to greatlakesdragaway in Wisconsin. I went 3-4 times a week. Some days I would take the bike and other days I would take the car. It takes practice to be consistent but is sure alot of fun. You have to remember there is always someone faster than you no matter what you are riding/driving. So it is best to just challenge yourself and you will come away with a huge smile on your face. If you are really looking for a good time, most tracks do a street race night and you can really make some money if you know yourself, your vehicle and your opponent. Negotiating is the key!

If you run over 120mph, you must have leather pants and they must zip to your jacket. Gloves/over the ankle boots. Chain guard in place, Snell 95 helmet, engine kill switch w/tether strap.(not sure if this is for all bikes or a certain speed or what). NHRA license 9.99 or quicker.

Cold air = GOOD mph.

Drag racing is a blast.
