Just as a heads up, check into gear and bike prep requirements as well.
Some tracks require a dead man kill switch and leather pants below a certain ET or above a certain trap speed.

I'd also consider waiting till spring when it warms up a bit. A cold track doesn't offer much traction.

Sounds like fun, if you do it on a Sunday I may have to come out and play.

Lonestar is in Sealy, and used to have less stringent rules than Baytown.

There is also an 1/8 mile track in the Humble area. Some of us were supposed to go tonight but weather conditions were not supportive of our little plan. I'm down for some drag racing just let me know when and where.

Why not just do it at HRP? Its the best track around, so what, they have safety rules?....Just wear your full leathers, have a chain guard on and you are good.....If anyone breaks into the 9s, you will need the dead man kill switch. Sometimes they will ask for an NHRA racing license if you are running consistant 9.90s but.....usually not.

Host it on a sunday afternoon when the track is not as crowded. I am down depending on when you guys set it up and where its at. I am not trailering all the way to Sealy.....

Its a Ihra Track . Im sure they require the basic. also rules are based on How fast you go. I will find out today. HRP is Cool because im used to the track, it just seems closer to hit sealy, and they are both good tracks.
