Hmm kinda like the RIDER who apparently was unable to control himself?

...yup...joke will be tomorrow, but ironically these are words from the cops themselves.
I could careless about the pieces of chit that break the law. They usually deserve what is coming to them. I did not see the justification on the vid.
If he was in a car and you ram him with a cop cruiser, then well, ok. he is still protected by all the steel. on a bike, the kids is lucky to be alive.
Being a cop is not about being able to break laws and do anything you want whenever you want. As a professional and a representative of the government, you are expected to follow a standard that is even higher than that of the rest of the population. Without that, you do not have trust, and you do not have cooperation.
I was raised with cops, my relatives are cops, and tons of my friends are too. But just because I know them and hang out with them does not mean I will always agree with them.
My friends did see the vid and also say there are two numb nuts in the vid, the runner and the rammer. I agree 100%.
Maybe they should both go to jail and share the cell.
Nuf said.

comes down to personal responsibility doesn't it? I mean, the choices we make have consequences and we need to be responsible for the outcome of those actions.

If you a buddy decide to rob a bank and during the ensuing fire fight, your buddy is killed and you are arrested ... then you (in my mind) can be charged with murder because everything you did lead to his death.

Same thing with running from the cops ... if cops were to let people just run, then no one would pull over. How many times have we seen runners cause accidents that end up killing others? If the biker had in fact avoided the cop car and kept on running and ended up slamming into a van full of kids killing them all, I'm sure there would be people blaming the cops for ...

a) not ending the chace earlier or
b) chasing the guy in the first place ...

I don't know why people want to be cops ... they get no love for doing a tough, dirty and un-respected job.

The funniest thing is ALL of you trying to disect a COPS job and actually try to explain How we should act and how we should feel... Yet many of you all have NEVER walked 2 steps in our shoes or put on the uniform or done any of the things we do... You see a vid and the talking starts... again the Majority of us go out there to do a good job for the community and at the end of the day, we want to go home... Not saying that they guy was right or wrong but that I think its funny to disect anothers job without having ever done it... its like me trying to tell the men/ women of the military what they feel out in battle... ( ive never done it ) or how a pilot should react/think when he is up in the air and disaster strikes... Its easy for all of you to arm chair quarter back cops... Maybe you all should join and fix what you all think is broken... PD's are hiring!!!

some people want to help others, nothing wrong with that. Its better than being a talking clown like your self. Some cops are jack and some are cool but I will take one in my corner any day.

I think there are 2 types of mentalities that go with cops...and I say cops and not law enforcement because there are high paying law enforcement jobs out there but not generally city or county PD. There are the ones that want to be cops to make a difference in their community and there are the a-holes that have napoleon complexes. I think the situation is alot like the teacher situation...if the pay was higher they would have a bigger pool of citizens that want to make a difference to hire from but don't because they simply can't afford to.Take me for instance...I would love to be in law enforcement...I choose not to go into gov't law enforcement like my parents because I do not wish to move and local PD's do not pay well enough. So the rest of us are stuck "arm chair quarterbacking" but in reality it is the citizens job to police the police as well as it is the pd's job to enforce laws. Remember this countrys govt is suppose to be set up as of people by the people and for the people. That means the cops work for US to protect US and serve US. It is not a us against them type of thing. If any cop gets to the point where everyone is guilty and eff them run them over throw them all in jail attitude they need to quit there job and move on to another profession. On the same note if all the good cops ganged up on the cops that are out there and set them straight or turned them in...things might get better and the cops wouldn't get such a bad rap. Yes there are a-holes in every line of work but if you put yourself in a position of authority and can't live up to a standard expect people to pick you apart...
