NE Operation Candy Cane

As you know there will be a central meeting place at PP1 at 11AM on the 22nd. I will be there to kick off the great candy-cane give-away.

NE riders are going to meet at Starbucks at 1960 and 59 by 1 PM. That way you can stop for lunch before we get started.

I'll have routes/ shopping centers printed up and I'll pass them out once everybody arrives. Hopefully there will be enough of us to send two+ to each of the shopping centers/ and more to the mall parking lot. We'll be up there for at least two hours.

**Bring at least 100 candy canes each! If you have a rider, they should bring another 100. We are going to need more, so if you can buy more, please do. If you have a friend who wants to follow in a car, that would be super- we need people to take pics of the riders.

Even if you don't go to PP1, then meet at Starbucks at 1 PM on the 22nd!

The normal sized ones... not the tiny ones, and not the giant ones. They come in a box of ten or twelve, I think, for $0.88 at Wal Mart. If everybody would put $20 they could come out with about 200 canes. They'll go fast, though! There's no limit to how many you can bring, so load up!

No, colors are great! I don't think anybody will be offended because they get a different flavor- besides kids prefer the fruity ones... at least mine do. I'm so excited I can hardly study.

There's the original thread, then you should start seeing area threads pop up pretty soon like this one. There should be a member heading each area around Houston.

Thanks for organizing us on the NE side... I am still debating on doing this on the bike. If anything, I might come out in the car and video you guys passing them out. (and carry extra candy canes, water for the riders, etc...)

Come on, spend $20 on candy canes another $20 for the battery operated christmas lights - wrap your tank and ride with us... We will be freezing in elf suits, you at least can put a santa suit over your gear!
