Only because I had to, after riding my whole life without it State Farm said they would drop me if I did not get it. Maybe it was getting the Busa that pushed them over the edge.

Where I was it was mandatory.
But the one guy with a sport bike had a terrible time maneuvering it around

Yep, with Meaner. We had so much fun! Before that class I was scared of my bike. And we rode on 250's- also there was a short-short man on the ninja 250 who couldn't reach the ground. Very funny- except he almost didn't pass...

i've taken both and if I had time I would take them both again. i'm not too proud to admit that there is still more to be learned. who knows what I have forgotten.

Yep, in torrential rains. It really helped my confidence at low speeds. But I wish we had practiced at a little faster speeds on the 492cc Buell Blasts. I also wish there was some way to get practice in light traffic or something.

I took it twice! First time by myself, second time with a few girl friends as moral support! I learned a lot from both!
