Good Deal?

Found a set of new M1s (180/55/17 rear and 120/60/17 front) for 212 shipped from a website online. Just wondering if this is a pretty good deal or if theres anywhere anyone knows about that I should check out. Thanks.

Re: Good Deal?

You need a 120/70 on the front. the 60 will turn in very quick. You will have to adjust the forks to compensate

Re: Good Deal?

$222.90 and you can get them today from us, just $10.00 more, not a bad price to pay for a local dealership that helps you when you need it. right:

Re: Good Deal?

tires are a good deal but when you get them, getting them mounted wont be. i bought two new powers from Din for around $220 and it cost me about $50 to mount both tires on my wheels that were off. if you buy them at a shop they cut you a deal on mounting. if not its like $30 a wheel.

get the powers instead. you will love these tires!!!

Re: Good Deal?

The Powers are good tires but the BT014's own the Powers right now IMO, and are less expensive! right:
The M1's right now are pretty old tech compared to some of the competitive tires.

My bike comes from the factory with a 120/60. Its if I switch to a 70 series that ill have to end up adjusting the forks. Its an 03 R6 by the way. I heard the new ones come with a 120/70 though

Re: Good Deal?

Let the guy get whatever friggin tire he wants. Who gives a if he doesnt go to the track like you do. Look at all these regular cars with pirellis and michellins. why dont u tell them, get some kumhos since your not a track racer or sumthing and quit finding lil to flame about. A NEW TIRE IS A NEW TIRE, BETTER THAN HIS OLD TIRE.

Re: Good Deal?

and the stickiest reg. street car tires don't wear off in 3000-4000mi either. and if he asked about car tires, i'd give him the same schpeel.

if he saved $ on tires, maybe he could afford to have insurance...........
