I haven't seen her in a while.
she is nice enough, but doesn't really know the inventory very well. I like to go with the old guy that worked as an Engineer for the one of oil companies is there. He is as close to a Guru on readloading as I have met. He put me onto the Lee crimp dies.
I run those as step five on the progressive ever since.

LEE crimp dies FTW!!

Shiloh seems like a pretty nice place I live one street over from there. I have been in and talked to the guys who work there. never shot though. They all seem real cool. I want to go too. Just give me a date.

Shiloh is a real nice range, luckily I get a good discount because of my work too

I send lots of customers over there to go shoot, but watch the targets they move FAST!

Whoever said they were going to the gun show to get a new gun I encourage you to come check with me at my shop, Tomball , before making any purchases. 99% of the time I can beat their prices on new and used guns.

Not to Shiloh you won't....It's all indoor, I highly doubt you can use high powered rifles like a 308 in there. I have been wrong before, but your ears won't thank you for shooting that rifle in a concrete room 10 feet wide.

99% percent of indoor ranges make you use frangable ammo for rifles just a heads up.....

I spoke with the the owners son, who is the one that works the front desk there. Seems like the best day for them would be Sunday, Dec 9th from 10am - Noon or after 5pm. Judging from the interest in this thread I went on the high side and told them to expect 20 people. They said that they could give us the 40ft range, which I think is 5 or 6 lanes for $20 for 2 hrs per person.

I really don't understand their logic at this point. So we get half the range and then you increase the lane rental, plus impose a time limit. Not blasting them, but then again I've never tried to put anything together like this. Any suggestions?

20 for 2 hours? I would rather go to ASC and pay 9 per gun for all day!

But they are guaranteeing the lanes for us, so who knows? I'll have to load some shells I guess..

$20 regardless of how many guns?

I thought about ASC as well. I don't know how busy it is on the weekends though. I am going to speak with them again and see whats up with this because it really didn't make sense. I've never been there and seen it packed with shooters. May have done better just by showing up with an assload of people.

if they are going to up the price and give us half the place , why not show up NOT as a group and get all the lanes for the normal price lol

just everyone stagger in and make it look like for some strange reason 20 or so people just decided to come at the same time

thats some bs though
