this is just funny... a 600 is gonna challenge me to a race of 50 ft? \

ok so a 600 jumps out 1/2 a bike length for 1.27689 seconds, congrats to him

also notice how the thrrad starter started talking all this about busa owners wanting to go fast but a 14 owner comes in to stir the t.... why do 14 owners always feel the need to be in a busa thread?

I have a really small weiner, so I needed a bike that screamed to the ladies, "Hey! I've got a really BIG weiner!"

So I got a bike that had

an incredibly smooth torque curve

a civil bottom end with a manic top end

a near bullet proof engine

ergonomics that are comfortable enough to ride to Kerr, hit up some roads, then ride back - without hurting myself

the capacity for really great hard luggage

the strongest aftermarket following for any bike, anywhere

a motor than can be punched out to 1400+ ccs, breathed on, turboed supercharged, gassed and cranked up to V-8 like horsepower

very solid in the corners and super stable at speed

the ability to be ridden on Houston area roads that are typically straight and long - and still have a good time, because on the Busa you don't have to pin the throttle or scrape your sliders to have a good time

aesthetic properties that I really like - beauty's in the eye of the beholder - and I couldn't care less what other people think.

I've never been to a bike night, or on a group ride. I like my Busa because it's fast and powerful, solid and stable, comfortable and sporty. Yeah, if a "boy racer" wanted to lose me in the corners they may be able to, but I haven't had that problem yet.

You say 90% of Busa riders are poser - braggarts, then go find some of them and talk to them. Coming on here labeling all Busa riders as squid posers is ignorant and belligerent. Sounds like you just want to stir up.

You ask why we (I) get so defensive - because you're a talker and talkers deserve to be put in place.

"It's just the internet," you say. MH isn't some anonymous internet forum. This is a local board that functions more as a vehicle for actually meeting other local riders than answering tech questions for people that can be 1000miles away that you'll never meet.

I'm glad you're in California, Texas already has too many a s s holes.

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-
