In the real world 98-99.9% of people here cannot use their SS bike to Its potential. Regardless of whether its a Busa or a GSXR 600.

I'm always lightened by the way. Fortunately for me, I don't have to go around bragging that I own a Busa. That alone takes a big weight off of my already non existant ego.

But id have to agree that having to express that your bike is better than everyone elses is just childish really.

I've owned numerous Zx6r's, and R6's. Its a preference. I'd have to agree with the original poster on this thread.

see there you go again.. saying that I have expressed my bike is better than eveyones bike.. I have never said that.. ever.. i have heard lots of the kindergarden guys in here say that about their 600, 1000s.. see I take offense when "I" get lumped into that group that you and others do so hate for having a different bike than you would or could own.. I have to agree the orginal poster was tallking about some 17 year old kid in California.. not here.. have a nice evening..

i got my busa becuase my first year in college, 2001, i got the chance to ride what i had dreamed of riding since i first saw it in 99. i rode it and decided then that i would have one. it wasn't about what anybody else had or wanting to be the biggest. i wasn't able to afford one when i was in college so when i got this job, i got a busa. i don't brag about anything to anyone.... it is usually non-busa owners who ask how fast i have gone on it and i tell them the speedo showed but was really due to speedo error.

basically, it is the bike i have always wanted and i could finally get it so i did.

Agreed;

You can pull some nasty corners in a minivan on a track but some would just laugh, no matter the fun you had... How many loath over cars that the owners don't really care to raise up on a peddastal? They drive it cause they like to... Granted, when everyone piles back into that minivan, its' purpose shines....

All bikes were man made, and for a reason... some go fast, others made for cornering, some loud and abnoxious, others for long rides. Just enjoy it.

For the record, I am the one always asked how fast I have ever gone, but that's what it's for... I don't ask a Mini owner how much they can haul at every stop light...

Peace to you all, enjoyed the chat! Interesting perspectives...

some people really amaze me....what does the size of a motor have to do with anything? you can turn a 600cc into a Litre killer if you so choose...

ok so you can turn fast? im crazy impressed....really

this discussion really should just stop...

you bring up having fun on a bike?
well the most fun bike i've ever ridden was an 80's cb350.... was a blast! comfortable, alright performance...open road. guess what? I couldnt beat you on that pos if i tried....but it was a FUN bike...

and do you really see people with busa's bragging about going 180 on the highway? no you see stupid squids on gsxr 600's that think they REALLY WERE doing 180....

most people with super bikes have enough reserve NOT to do something that ridiculous....

now 100+mph no clutch power wheelies?!@?# thats why you buy a superbike!

p.s. suzuki is only allowed to make the busa cause chuck norris said so

OMG a post that contains more than LOL or hahahahah

who the F cares. Some people like 6 sec drag bikes, some people like 1:40 track bikes. Some just like street torque. Who the cares, seriously.

i think busa's are allright, but what i dont get is why so many busa riders have their avatar name in all caps, and they type in all caps in all their posts...

not all of them do, but i think the percentage is more for busa riders...i dont know if its to make themselves stand out or what...but i think im gonna start a new trend to counter it....

from now on all GS owners should type in italics...
