Is that something Texans would use as target practice with their rifles? New to the state but seems as if a perfect opportunity to perfect that long range shot.
And it would be a moving target to add to the fun.

LOL.

^ haha. i was just thinking how cool would it be to build a remote control plane...

...with a built in full auto BB gun. like the kind you see at carnivals and you shoot out the star, exept make it accurate. camera mount. cooler than a video game!

i guess its better then the cameras on the side of the road that can catch you speeding. i cant imagine too many of these flying around. just another reason to relocate your license plate

I hope the PD and FD Unions are loading up for bear on this one. WTF justifies something like this while the men and women who do the actual work are so under-paid and under-staffed AND under-funded?????????

I'd be screaming murder if I worked there. Millions of dollars spent on toy airplanes... jeeeesh.

The price tag for an unmanned aircraft ranges from $30,000 to $1 million each and HPD is hoping to begin law enforcement from the air by June of 2008 with these new aircraft.

most likely this is funded by Homeland Security..

It'll never work. Too expensive to maintain and IMO too easy to beat a ticket from evidence collected by a spy plane.

Welcome to the New World Order. I guess nobody checked out my thread in the political asylum about a new bill that has been presented in Congress either. Get prepared to be a tool or a slave of the state.
