red light camera's and bikes?

what if you get stuck at a light and it won't change?

i would assume if the bike isn't light enough to set off the lights, its prolly not enough to set of the camera's.

i don't think that there are any red light cameras, setup at an intersection, where a motorcycle would be the only vehicle for a long period of time. Aren't most of them setup at busy intersections?

Isn't the red lights set of by a laser passing the intersection and not by weight?

I thought I read that they were going to go through and fix the intersections to read motorcycle weight to trip the lights. This was going to be completed in X amount of days.
I know that I used to run the light at Grant and Spring Cypress. For the last month, it has let me turn left and it never had before.

I was cited for running a red light(left hand turn) that would not turn green through 5 cycles. The cop who was sitting there watching pulled me over and called me an idiot since i ran the light while he watched. I took the ticket to trial and stated i pay taxes like everyone else and that the light was faulty for not recognizing my legal vehicle. My ticket was dismissed, and in my closing statement i apologized to the jurors for having to sit through such an unnecessary trial for an unnecessary ticket. I called the officer an idiot on the way out of the courtroom. What a waste of valuable time.

if ur LP is mounted under the tail how could they snap a pic of it? the camera is mounted so high i would assume the tail end would block it?

ive seen some stuff...its like a spray that you put on the plate that is so reflective any pic taken of it just shows white. i dunno how it would hold up after time and rain, etc.

i have also seen covers that look sort of acrylic that do the same thing, but i dont know the legality of them.

You gotta have some$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and for what. that one time it doesn't read you there, and there is a camera on that intersection? Plus what if it breaks or if a cop inspects your bike on the side of the road and finds it. then your in even deeper . I would say tuck the plate and be done with it. simple easy and less hassle by the fuzz.
