New Shop truck

I got this 1954 dodge to paint up and letter as my new shop truck.
the Powder Coating shop in Santa fe should be open in january and we need a cool hauler of sorts. It will be lowered and painted satin black, all chrome and emblems will be Highway HorrorS lime green, and I am making a hood ornament from bike chain and brass knuckles.

That will be a sweet truck Scooter. By the way. My dad is having that harley frame blasted this week, and will be doing the fab to change the rake, so it should only be a couple more weeks before we come see you. He is excited. I'll get him to bring those chrome rims with him so you can see what you think it will take to do those also.

Does this one have the wooden plants in the bed floor? I have seen some great work on wood there.

Hey WitchDoctor I had one of those...
It was a '49 with a 327 and a Turbo 400. Had to sell it to pay for my honeymoon (sniff).
It looked like it was similar condition to yours, i.e. ran but wasn't ready for the show circuit.

that should make a really nice project/shop truck Tim. I've been trying to get my hands on a Model A to ratrod or find myself a 40's-50's shoebox to chop and channel and cruise with. I regret selling my 49 Chevy Fleetline Deluxe 2dr last year. . .man i miss that car.

doesnt need to be redone for showing off, it looks good and will be accepted as is no problems. My dodge has a 225 slant 6 in it. I'm thinking of dropping my tunnel rammed 440 in it though, not sure yet, the little 6 runs perfect and would make a better shop truck that way.
