To move or not to move?

Hmmm. Well at this moment in time i'm actually back home in NH for a visit to the family! And Currently down there i'm unemployed and really have nothing lined up. SO... Here's my dilemma. My old boss approached me today and offered me a brand new store down in Tilton NH. And the money will be worth the move according to them. Now i worked for this company before i moved to Texas and i loved it. It was a easy job. Mon-Fri. 8-5 and weekends off. With full benefits. I just don't know what to do. I like it down there in Texas and it's was def. worth the experience to move. I just don't know whether to take the offer or continue to look for a job down there making the same amount or hopefully more. Any suggestions on what would be a good life choice?

you have nothing holding you back. . .take the offer and give it a shot!!! If you don't like it, you can always come back to the dirty south!!

where is your heart at.... home for me was Texas... i turned down an offer to stay in california making 25% more money. disregard the cost of living there. i moved because Texas is home and no matter what i did in california, it never felt like home. i can't recommend one way or the other because i don't know you, but this is a choice you chould make because you think it would be best for you. don't take the easy road, take what you feel will best benefit you later.

In ten years will you ask yourself, "I wonder what would have happened if I didn't take the offer?"

Justin, you are young dude....and I'm assuming no ties here to TX that have you strapped down. I did the same thing 3 years ago....left Chicago and made my move for Houston while I had nothing tying me down. So far, it has worked out GREAT! Do what your heart desires man.....but remember, women up north ain't nearly as pretty as the gals we have down here in Texas.

haha ya guys i know what you mean about the woman that's for sure! thats why if she agrees to it i would take my southern bell with me! It's just a lot to think about it. I mean he's offering me a store in the heart of new hampshire. I mean it doesn't sound like a lot but 16 and hour up there is compared to 24 and hour down here. No taxes on anything and the only downfall is the one tax called property tax:( But i really like the weather in texas for the most part. I don't a lot to think about...

doing something like that is risky. if there is work, you rake in money. when it gets slow you are worried like a . go to NH and have a set job and be close to home. if you dont like it, set something up over here.
