Anyone For Riding Dirt this weekend?

The weather may cooperate and provide a cool day of riding.
I still need to see what other things need to get done this weekend, but I am sure that I can set one day aside for riding. Early Saturday or Sunday?

well, you're in luck, BigC and I don't really get off the ground

as far as location is concerned, I have no idea. I like going to Rio cuz it's cheap and fun, and not too far away, and I don't feel like I am gonna hurt myself there. But I am open to any/all locations.

if you guys ever get the idea to go on a short beer fueled trail riding getaway let me know. we used to take our race quads to www.shilohridge.com all the time and trail ride, drag race, and test our fate on helicopter hill. The pics on the website make it look like a redneck mudhole extravaganza(which it is in certain places) but the trails will keep you happy for at least two days.

There was some talk about going to Sam Houston Forest pretty soon. They have 85 miles of multi-use trails.

It's all good.

no need for plates in the forrest unless you are riding on their dirt roads in between trails (from what I've been told).

I don't have a spark arrestor on the 250f, and I kinda don't feel like converting the 426 to dirt and then re-tarding it later.

I have an extra spark arrester you can use if it fits. If not they are only a few bucks I would think. Go buy one and pick my up we will call it even (brake you broke )

just pay at the trailhead for the carload, i think it's $5 but it's been a while. and always call before you haul. . .936-344-6205 will tell you if the trails are open or not. if you want to know where we go, just google kelly's pond recreational area in the sam houston national forest.
