3 consecutive pulls for 30 ( all 3 ) or if you want to RUN the OFF then RUN then Off. it will be 30 for the first pull then 15 for the second and 10 for the 3rd

Well you are completely right about the 600's dynoing those numbers, however at the Powersports of Houston dyno they will see high numbers. When I dynoed my 07 ZX6R at HOH during a dyno day, I dynoed 106 RWHP. A few months later at the powersports dyno I dynoed 119 RWHP. I really don't think my bike gained that much power breaking in. Asylumz 600 dynoed 112 RWHP if I remember and ralphs liter made 174 RWHP. Be aware this dyno is optimistic.

a dyno is just a tool to use for power increases....you can't compare numbers from dyno to dyno....

Just get a baseline and always use the same dyno to show your gains from mods......

+10

BTW Guys..... $30 for 3 pulls is not bad but the on/off, on/off, on/off for an extra charge is total BS...... First off, tuning requires WAY more then 3 pulls..... It takes 3 pulls just to get a decent baseline, the 2nd pull is usually the strongest..... Yes if your AFR is WAY off on the first pull, you may be able to clean it up some before the 2nd pull if doing it on the dyno, but once you pull the bike back off, adjust the map, then load the bike back up and make a pull, its not going to make power because it has just cooled down for 15 mins.....you are best off just making your 3 pulls back to back to get a good baseline, then go back and schedule a tuning session or buy time by the hour and tune it....You are WAY BETTER OFF buying time by the hour OR paying a flat rate for a full map.....

Just from what I have heard about this shops dyno and or tuning abilities.....just go for the dyno day, enjoy hanging out and frame your inflated dyno chart on the wall for bragging.....find a real tuner/accurate dyno for tuning.....IMOP..

Anyone that needs REAL tuning, PM me and I will hook you up with a real tuner that will spend a lot of time getting the most out of your bike....I am actually taking my 1000 to his shop this saturday for a full map job and filter experimenting....

Well, I had mine done in the summer at NW, so it will be interesting to compare numbers in the cooler weather and different dynos.

Plus I changed cans and got a good tuneup recently, so hopefully it will do better.

Use some pretty used tires not your brand new ones to do the runs. My.02

The good air will help make good power but if they are using the SAE correction factor, weather conditions are "accounted for" in the correction.....ie. if you dyno on a hot day, then dyno on a cool day, the built in correction factor(assuming he has a working weather station hooked into the dyno/software) presumably corrects them to read consistantly to a standard..... On a cold day you will make more power and the SAE correction will bring your numbers down....on a hot/humid day, the SAE correction can help bring your numbers up slightly but not always the case. There is so much room for BS in dynos and software its not even funny......

Like mentioned before, its a tool used to measure gains for mods and tuning, not for back to back comparisons to other dynos, or even that same dyno on different days...

Dyno-tuners like to make their customers happy and sell them good numbers....Kind of like being told what you want to hear.....

Yeah, I know all about fudging corrections.. or just "forgetting" to put them in..

But if it is that optimistic, then I should be able to spank my buddies Zrex from last summer!! LOL!!!!!!

Yeah most of the time, tuners will use STD numbers or Uncorrected/Actual numbers....they make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside but.....they are strictly for bragging because SAE is the standard that you can use for comparison amongst dynos....ofcourse thats still a crapshoot....

Good luck on bust'n that Zrex!

All I need is 8-10 hp of fudge room and I got him!

One of these I'll drop in a GSXR exhaust cam and even things up.
