Don't think I said that. Evolving as a specific animal yea, evolving from a fish, to reptile, to monkey, to man......nope. I know I missed a BUNCH of steps, but you get my point.

No I am not trying to preach to you. I was saying it in an unbiased point of view. Also, it's not whether you or I believe in what, it is a generalized statement whether you fly one way or another.

No, this is not evolution. They people in the urban and rural areas are still people. An example of modern day evolution would be the use of our thumbs to play video games on the Playstation and X-Box.

I am asking because I am interested in how Christians explain these differences in humans. You studied anthropology, I took a few semesters, so I know the scientific version.

I don't know if using our thumbs for games, is evolution, unless our hands change shape.

thats how different species are born, is there environment.

Such as, coyotes, wolves, dogs, are all canis genus but then are broken into species.

coyote = Canis latrans

wolf = Canis lupus

and then after that there is sub_species

all came from one canine like animal, but all adapted to there enviroment, more fur, less fur. bigger, or smaller, faster, higher jumpers, low center of gravity etc etc

Yea I studied anthropolgy because I needed science without a lab, but as for the bible. I don't think there is an explanation to that.. I am too familiar with the bible just get.

All I know is said let there be light, and there was light...

Not only do we have thumbs, but we have learned to interact with our environment with our thumbs through video games. It isn't as great a leap as house cat and mountain lions, but it is a evolution. Just a real small example of it.

lets take arabs and africans

both are classified as sapien spaiens

but look how each adapted to there environment, yes there all people but one has a dark skin from being out in the sun and heat 18 hours a day

arabs tended to use clothing to block from the sun, still dark but not nearly as dark as most of africa

and then you take the white culture, which tended to be more northern, less sun, and stand indoors alot, and those who were farmers tended to be tan

we as humans adapted

Yes. Now since that time we have used our brain pans to create an industrial revolution to shape our environment and have not evolved much since that point except to increase our brain capacity and reasoning skills. Well, at least some of us anyway...

yes were still the same species for now, but this all took the span of 3500-5000 years imagine what 10,000, 100,000, 1,000,000, 1 Billions years from now it could be
