well maybe it's not BS. Went to MAW's site to look for the speedmaster 1pc suit and the only blu/blk/wht was a size 46 priced at $835. There is a red/blk/wht size 40 but it too is priced at $835.

Make sure they remove the charge from your credit card.

Will do good buddy! The e-mail did state that my "credit card was not charged", but I will double check. Thanks!

I just heard from some people who ordered the suit that they did get cancellation notices from amazon, and that later they received notices from MAW saying that their order was processed. The money was taken out too. So keep checking. I am very eager to see how this resolves. I think they are in a spot that once they charge you money, they are obligated to fulfill the order.

We will see.

the person I spoke with at MAW said ALL of the orders were canceled. Doesn't mean she was being truthful though...

I also received an email from MAW that is and automatically generated and sent out order confirmation. My card has not been charged from what I've been told. Guess we'll see

Definitely follow up. I've had to go back (several months later) to get a refund that should have happened automatically.

Perforated leathers "Never thought about that! I don't know any shops that could do it. Any recommendations!"

There is a guy at Barnicle Bills www.racingleather.com that can perforate your leathers. I called him and talked to him (real nice guy), he perforates them with I believe 1/4" holes. You have to pay for it of course and shipping back and forth. When he does it, it also cuts holes thru the liner, probably not a big deal though. I decided to perforate it myself. I went to Tandy leather and got a leather punch and made a pattern on card stock and slid a Home Depot wooden paint stick up thru the liner so I would not cut the liner and made my own perforations. It came out really neat and looks factory. I will post a new thread with pictures and detials. It was a fun project but then I am a do it yourself guy and it may not be for everyone.

Latest Update!!!

Talked to MAW rep ...Orders cancelled!!!

Talked to amazon rep...Claims that an "authorization hold" is automatically placed on orders and that no charges are incurred until they receive shipping confirmation from MAW. They did provide me with a transaction number to verify with my financial institution that no charges were incurred.

Talked to my financial instituion and they say that the transaction has been processed.

Bottom line: No suits for us . As far as the charge, I will update you guys later today after I talk to the bank....Bastards!!!

The charges on my card are on "authoriaztion hold" and should be refunded in three business days. If the charge does post, then I will file a claim as directed by the rep. Hope this helps the rest of you out!
