Rider died today

just heard on the news a motorcycle rider died running from the deputies. no names given happened somewhere on Hardy and some other street that i didnt catch.

Agreed.. but sometime cops shouldn't be chasin either. It's the law and if the bike rider isn't going to follow his part the cop should do thier part and let him go.

while we are on topic. any of you guys read about the utah rave bust. that was hardcore. tackaling lil girls. punching them in stomachs. cops in full tactical uniform carrying automatics. ripping up permits. tear gassing everyone. confiscating alot of video camera. i can post a separate link later in off topic.

Chase Suspect Dies When Motorcycle Collides With Pickup
Deputies Not Sure Why Biker Took Chase

HOUSTON -- A motorcycle chase had a deadly ending in north Harris County Wednesday, Local 2 reported.

The chase ended when the biker struck a small red pickup truck on the Hardy Toll Road near Airtex Drive at about 11:35 a.m.

Emergency workers pronounced the biker dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.

Authorities with the Precinct 4 Harris County Sheriff's Department said the biker had been pulled over for a routine traffic stop but took off, prompting deputies to chase him.

The driver of the red pickup was not injured in the crash.

Deputies have not said why the biker was originally pulled over or why he ran from officials.

Nope.

I don't think it's need for cops to add to teh fire and chase.. the biker is already endangering others, a full out chase on the street doesn't help make other ppl safe.
