Tis the season . . .

I'm helping my packrat father declutter his house in preparation for retirement. The problem is, what to do with all that stuff? Garage sale? Sure, but I'd like to help out others less fortunate if I could. Anyone know any organizations I can donate some of the stuff to, other than the Salvation Army. If not, I may just find a family in need and "hook a brotha up."

There are some women's shelters, Ronald MacDonald charities, homeless shelters, and other places like that. If you do donate, it's a tax write-off, so get the tax sheet from whomever you donate to.

I take most of my stuff to the Women's Shelter resale shop in Richmond off Hwy 90.
