Legislative Action time Please read!!!!

Over in our nation's capital a bill has been introduced to correct the stupid HIPAA rule that recognizes while employers cannot refuse health care coverage to an employee on the basis of their participation in a recognized legal activity (motorcycling, skiing, horseback riding, snowmobiling, etc). However, benefits can be denied for injuries sustained in connection with those activities. Therefore, we are guaranteed the right to health care coverage but not any benefits

Please go to the AMA Rapid Response site to get a easy way to contact your Federal legislator.

Dude employers in many cases (especially the big ones) have to foot the bill for their employee's insurance. The company I work for now only pays half. But every company I worked for in the past paid 100% and I used to pay 100% for my employee's at the company I used to own.

Move to Canada.. I kid I kid

But for real dude.. Nothing is going to get done. WHY? simple.. The very people we expect to make changes to better the quality of life for us Americans are making millions being bought off by industries like the health care industry.

If you don't believe me watch the movie "sicko".. pretty sad U.S. has the worst possible heathcare system but nothing is going to change as long as we allow government officals to be bought off.. and I wouldnt hold your breath about that being fixed because the ONLY people that can change things are the very people being bought off in the first place.

In the movie sicko one lady got in a car wreck and had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance... Few weeks later her insurance company sent her a bill for it and said she didnt get "pre approved" for the ambulance ride. ROFL..

Also people like Michael Moore try to help the American people by showing what type of healthcare we really have compared to what other countries have and iggnorant people like my Aunt refuse to watch anything by him.. Its that ignorance that is making our country worse and worse every day.

But writing your congressman isnt ever going to change a thing. The only way the wrongs will be righted in this country is for another million or (millions) man march on washington and demand things get changed. Kinda silly idea I know but true just the same.

Just because Moore put it in a movie doesn't mean there is anything in it you should believe. First of all the comparison he used to compare our health care system to was Cuba. Are you kidding me! One of the most backward communist countries in the world. The hospital he used there is well known for being used only for the rich of Cuba. No regular Joe can ever get near that hospital. Even that being said, anyone who is anyone from anywhere in the world comes to the US to get serious health care. There is no better! For Moore to even begin to suggest otherwise shows his moronic judgment and political bias and anyone who believes what he is claiming is just as moronic as he is. Nearly everything he put in that movie has been proven to be bogus.

I'll bet you money that the lady you are talking about didn't get a bill from her insurance company because they were not the provider. She got the bill from the ambulance company and the insurance company denied the claim. But you and Moore would certainly distort that. I'll bet she still didn't have to pay for the ambulance cost instead the tax payers did and she did get the service. Didn't she? In countries like Cuba you don't get the service unless you can pay. Not so here.

Your Aunt is a lot smarter than you are! Why don't you give her a little respect?

Just to show your genius your going to go out and watch another Michael Moore movie instead taking any other action on issues like this? That's brilliant! Spend some time with your Aunt and listen.
