I start writing tickets at 13 mph over... and usually I let them do 15 over...

Hey popos - please come to Kingwood and write tickets for running Stop signs. Half of these people round here don't know that you're supposed to stop.

And PoPos, please hang out by Shadyvilla and Woodvine, in my neighborhood in Spring Branch. Cagers run that stop sign all the time, as well as speed excessively up and down Woodvine between Westview and Long Point. Plenty of revenue to be had for the COH, and I'll feel safer walking around the block with my daughter.

Very true. But hang out at Shadyvilla at Woodvine for 1/2 hour, and you got at least 1 ticket guaranteed!!

Actually, I had a friend who was HPD before going DEA. We'd go for lunch in his patrol car, and he'd challenge me to point out all the cagers with violations between his sub-station and where-ever it was we decided to eat. I'd catch 1 or 2, then he'd point out 10x more. He could write tickets all day long, but it was based on whether he was in the mood to get out and write them or not, or whether something just didn't feel right about a particular vehicle or the people in it. So if your vehicle has any kind of violation, from a crack in the windshield, to a crack in the tail-lights, to tags, etc., don't think they don't catch it when they pass you by. Just feel lucky they didn't feel like stopping you, or have you take up their lunch time.
