AT&T DSL....HELP

ok like most here i usually surf at the j.o.b

i rarley use the comp at the casa....because i only had peoplepc dial up

anyway i broke down and got the at&t dsl pro w/ router and modem
everything is hooked up all lights are green,run the disk it came with ect....says all connections are ok enjoy

i can not connect/logon page is not displayed.....acting like im still on dial up

i have tried connection wizards ect.....i need a comp guru to work me thru setting up my computer(pc) so i can use my dsl.....i must be really dumb

i spent like 3 hrs last night running thru everything i know of....help

pm any helpful info.....

i looked all thru the box that came w/ the dsl modom/router and cant find a freakin number on any of the paperwork

im gonna call somebody today....probally help support from india

also make sure you have gotten rid of your old system of connecting to the internet. unplug your old modem and log onto your router and follow its instructions.

I always like to have my own router (usually a linksys) that connects to the DSL/Cable modem because I've had lots of issues like when when it would randomly drop the IP when my computer was just plugged into it.
