if you want small and fun, a miata is actually a ton of fun to drive.
NSX is overrated IMO

for tht price you could build a pretty sweet kit car. A guuy on TWT is building an Ariel Atom look alike. I think he said his cost is $12k or less and thats with paying crazy shipping and stuff from the UK. I think because of him it'll be easier to get one

I can't tell you if they have a hard top conversion or not. I would think that black would fade, but I haven't heard any problems with it. I know the soft top on my mustang held up really well. On the Miatas I have heard of lots of problems with the top holding up.

Chrysler Crossfire (I don't know why but I like them)
Audi TT (vert over coupe)
Mini Cooper S (frickin fun car to drive!)
Porsche Boxster (poser extreme-which I live lol)

why would you want a sports car a convertable? they weigh alot more. IMO i would get a coupe version of any of the cars that sexual chocolate mentioned.

BMW IS THE WAY TO GO!!!
I just got one myself and wish i had the cash for a M3 :/: i had to settle with a kick 325i :/: its for my old lady don't give me people. at least im moving up in the world and have a bmw now.

I've done the fast car thing for many of years. had a car that broke into the 8's and would pull tire 4ft in the air. had a car that went 120+ for 30hrs straight. now days I want a reliable car with a warranty. but it still has to have some power.

My dad brought a stock one home and all I can say is holly . Blew away the C5 corvette without trying. about 1k worth the upgrades (exhaust, intake, chip, and new pulley) and you can have over 500hp. Car is sick fast. My wife wanted to kill me when she got out of the car.

Also.. a subaru??? WTF?? Thats like buying a DSM.. Just say no. Gotta pick FWD or RWD. No AWD. I would go with something that has an LS1.
