All I have to say is Man up. If you are breaking the law pay the consequence.

Cops are just doing their job. Stereo typing does sucks, and It may seam that they are harassing bikers but truth be told a few bad apples makes the bunch seam bad. How does the cop know you are the good biker. He/She has to assume the worst to prepair themselves.

It is like the airport security they have to screen a lot more since 9-11, a lot of people hate that it takes longer but I have no problem with it cuz I feel safer on the plane.

Cops put their lives on the line to protect us and we all complain about them. What kind of thanks is that. Can you imagine pulling over people not knowing if they are packing or going in to your house to catch a burler, the cop could get shot and it does not even benefit him. Would you put your life on the line for a stranger?

I think some bikers stereotype cops just as much as some cops stereotype bikers.

I have been stopped at tripple digits several times and I just owned up to the officer and said man that was stupid wasn't it? He agreed, checked me out and let me go on every single occasion! He knew I ment business too cause I was in my full one piece suit every time as well. He knew that I had taken some extra steps in protecting myself and it he showed me respect for it. Every officer always made a comment towards the suit. Gear separates the different types of riders out there.

Well I like'em....now that i've stopped gettin in trouble. I think they are great until you meet the guy that knows your doing something wrong when you aint, so he makes you do the dance because of prev experiences with "theese kinda bikes", even tho you wasn't doin that. uuuhhmmmm, Profiling.....yeah thats it. I know it works well on dope dealers, johns, stuff like that, but how you gonna....I guess...I don't know. I still think they are necessary...I even applied to HPD and after being accepted, turned down the position. (mom didn't like the idea in houston)

I don't even bother. There are so many ways to deal with the situation - and the cop if the situation warrants - afterward. All they can do is hand you a piece of paper. Your attorney can hand them their in court, or keep yours attached. Running is stupid.

your plea not to run but to take the consequences is good advice even if we all know this to be true. Unfortunately there are those who still do it. Its good to sound off on the subject now and then as new riders are always popping up on the street. Thanks for the heads up!

they come to you like that cuz a lot of them charge a flat rate for things like that and they wanna please the client, get their money, using the least amount of effort. If you do not "hook them up" then they have to go about it in a different manner (like fighting the case). They would rather you "hook them up" and please the client in a day or two and be done. Not have to do loads of research preparing for a knock down drag out in a court room.

For what it is worth I thank all of the LEO's out there for what they do. If we had no law enforcement on the street it would be like Mad Max out there. I know we all don't like to get tickets but someone has to enforce the law out there and most of the time it is a thankless job. So thank all of you for the job you do.
