I have the Sport Riding Techniques book and I have flipped through the Twist of the Wrist book at Barnes and Nobles while enjoying a Latte from Starbucks. I still want to buy them though.

These books are all well worth the investment IMO. Even if they were twice the cost. Talks about things you would never even begin to think of on your own. I am always telling people to get these books.

If you like the books, the Code School is even better. You have to listen to the Scientology theoretical stuff sometimes but it expands on the teaching of the books and applies it to the track. Well worth the trip to whatever track he's teaching at. He comes to TWS (Texas World Speedway) every once in a while.

Here are some shorter reads on technique, and lots of good info for suspension setting on that site as well

i'm re-reading the books already. it's A LOT to take in at once when you can't apply what it informs you.....and i wasn't the best at "studying" in school....so i figure the only way to keep it in my mind is to keep reading it til it's stuck in there.

with all the testimonials about this book.....anyone that hasn't read it, should go out and get it. it's well worth the time/money spent reading it.

+1 on the DVD. I saw it in a cycle world ad just the other day. My next motorcycle purchase.

I think you need to buy one of these books before you ever do a mod on your bike if you are a new rider. I think it would be money better spent. I read Sport Riding Techniques first time cover to cover and felt I was a better rider.

i would recommend sportbike techniques over Twist for a new rider.

yes, i will have to agree with this.

"Twist of the wrist" is more of an advanced riding book, and covers more "on track riding" techniques.....as "Sportbike riding techniques" covers more "on street riding" which can also be relative to track riding as well.

I liked SRT much better than the Twist books. Twist 1 and 2 is ained at the track, much more so than SRT.

I printed them both out if you want to swing by you're welcome to borrow them.
