keith code...twist of the wrist vol. 1 & 2

okay, considering myself fairly experienced with trackdays and carving corners, here's the scoop.

i was at the book store with my fiance....and i decided to pick up "Twist of the wrist" vol 1 & 2......within 1 day....i read BOTH books!! (and i hate reading too)

EXTREMELY instructing books...and after applying what i already knew with the detailed words of keith code, i'm sure it will drop some lap times. if not, it will at least give me more confidence since now i know technically how a turn is made....and what the bike is doing throughout the turns. i'll be sure to apply what i read about passing on jason (riddler) this weekend at MSRH

i would HIGHLY RECOMMEND all who haven't read these books to go to the bookstore and pick up a copy. you thought you knew....but you didn't.

good read IMO!!!!!!! I'll dig through my boxes when i finish unpacking here at the condo and open up my library on a loan basis. I have books that cover MC history, riding technique, and repair/service work. probably something for everyone in there

i also read the "sportbike riding techniques" book.......i think that's what it's called.

although that book is informative, i think most of that book informs you of "street riding" techniques.....keith code's book is more interesting, and more informative for track riding.

if you guys/girls have nothing better to do and can't wait to read it.....go to your local bookstore and have a seat and read it.....it's about 120 pages each book.....if you're a fast reader, i'm sure you can read it within an hour or so. took me 4 hours each book.....but i'm a slow reader.

I read twist 2 before every event. I need to find something for dirt cause I suck at dirt.

I bought those books when are started riding last year and barely made it half-way through the I. I hate being burnt out by school.

Hey, aint that like file sharing?
What about the lost income for the guy who wrote the books?
If people were to start doing that with music... why the whole music empire, from the giant record companies to the superstar millionaire rockers would just evaporate.
We would be left with nothing but people who perform because they love it!!!
What kinda deal would that be? Talented performers who love their art?
Next thing ya know TV writers will go on strike and then what will we watch?

Sorry I guess I got a little off topic... of course I'm kidding.

The Keith code books are classics. I did a California Superbike school with him at TWS (Texas World Speedway) back in the dinosaur days... I really learned alot from it.

Don't forget that Pre-K and everyone will have to pay taxes once again.

Ah, never mind, sorry, forgot there is no title for books.

he's already made money....the bookstore would have the lost income.

they will still sell cd's to those without computer literacy and they still have concerts that people will attend.

we'll all be in shape and doing outside activities and won't have the need to watch t.v.

I've got the code books as well - re reading soft science now, then I'll go back to TwistII. I had read them in preparation for my first track day. Then I've been re-reading as I have time. I recommend them to everyone I know who wants to go to the track
