Who remembers the TransAtlantic Race Series ???

USA versus the UK/Commonwealth
Wes Cooley, Dave Aldana, Randy, Kenny, Freddie, Eddie, Schwantz, Rainey to name a few for the US
And we had:
Barry Sheene, Graham Cosby, Rocket Ron Haslam, Wayne Gardner, Roger Marshall, Mick Grant etc at one time or another

Fantastic racing but we did get skinned as a rule.

Wish a promoter would find a way to bring it back right now,

AMA Superbike V BSB Superbike, somewhere neutral like Philip Island or Spain.
Mladin, Spies, Bostrum, Duhamel, Yates, Hayden etc
Against
Kiyo, Rea, Lavilla, Haslam, Walker, Crutchlow, Sykes, Byrne……..

Who do you fancy ?????????????????

I’ll just get my coat

That might have been a bit before my time. Sounds like an awesome series though!

I'd like our chances on neutral territory. We'd lose big time at Cadwell Park though.

I'd replace Walker, Crutchlow or Byrne with Leon Camier on your side though.

He's an awesome talent but lets see how he recovers before subbing Walker or Byrne

I was surprised to see him already walking around the pits at the following round. (or was it two rounds later?)

I just haven't seen Walker and Byrne do too much recently. Byrne also had a nasty get off that same day as Camier

Ok.. now I REALLY want to see this series resurrected!!

It didn't "bend" mate...............................

He hasn't raced since but he has just been signed by HM Plant Honda for 2008 which it's fair to say is probably the No.1 factory team in the UK.
A very popular signing by all accounts
