A little cheaper..

Most Wal Marts carry them as well, but not a huge size selection.

I've crashed tested them at 50, sliding on the edge of an asphalt road. Tore up the outside layer but didn't make it thru the second.

not bad, better than regular jeans i guess.

for a little more you can get some jeans from joe rocket with aramid kevlar and what not.

i love carpenter pants, but the prob with riding in them is the pockets are made to be loose and open. im always worried about my falling out. cargo pants work better, but are less comfortable, imo.

I don't carry anything in the pockets except my wallet. Tank bag or pack or in the zipped pockets of my jacket.

All the armor jeans I've seen from Joe Rocket, etc. are more in the $100 range, and I am not that certain you gain much protection.

www.compacc.com has slider jeans and cargo pants on the clearance ... I wear them and love them. The only thing I wish was that they had keep pads, but for that I wear a pari of sixsixones.

Sliders are khaki, cargo and jeans with kevlar in the seat and front ... a lot more coverage than draggin jeans. I think webbike had a review of them.

I've got several pair of the Fieldsheer jeans and really like them.
At $69.95 before MH Discount they're a great deal IMO.

yeah, do you keep "fat and tall" ?

I am actually looking at some Tour Master cortex because they have the CE armor in the knees and hips.

I mostly keep the 34/32 in stock, but they range from waist size 30 to 44 and lengths from 30 to 36 I believe.

Sizing is similar to normal fit jeans.

If I don't have your size in stock, I can have it in 3 days, if it doesn't fit, no hassles in swapping it out.
