Therapy

Okay so i went down yesterday hard...while playing football..

So i dislocated my left shoulder, my friend and I were able to pop it back it in place - yes yes i was still taken to the ER (not my choice), they did X-Rays and everything checked out.

The doc recommended a threapist (sp?), but....

so my question is do any of you guys have experiences or would you guys recommend any body as the "to go" guy for therapy (ortho.).

I would rather listen to you allz recommendations rather then the ER dude.

So contacts, places, numbers...

I and many other local racers have used Dr. Lou / Fondren Orthopedic Group with good results:

I go to The Orthopedic Sports Clinic on Campbell Road - 713-464-0077.

I dislocated a finger a few months ago and they've been great to work with. They handle a lot of the football injuries in the spring branch area.

I have been going to the Sports rehab center at shepard and 59 713, 526 6143.

They have been helping me with my hand/arm, leg/ankle, and back. We have been making good progress. They came recommended and have been taking good care of me.

Good luck and remember the saying no pain no gain originated in rehab!

i went to TIRR for rehab/physical therapy and had my left shoulder reworked by Dr. Bruce Moseley. I had arthroscopic surgery in the back and open in the front.

I can dig around for my physcial therapy exercises and if I still have them, scan and send to ya. These are my band and pulley exercises, which helped alot with regaining strength and mobility.

I hope you feel better. Heal up.
