LOL. We all learn from the mistakes we make and TRUST ME I sure have because it will cost me some mula. I guess I was so freaked out about the court date but I called this morning and I feel alot better because it wont be as bad as I thought.

I have to get slapped around for my mistakes, I know.

My bike..now I got to get that thing fixed. Hope everthing works out well for me and as soon as my back feels better, will take the test get my license and definatly getting insurance like tomorrow. Thanks again for all the advice, no hard feelings for the slaps..I have definatly learned a valuable lesson here

By the way..I was wearing gear..the helmet is what saved my naggin.

Peace...

A brand new bike? I wonder if she paid cash or if she's financing...most banks won't give a loan on a vehicle without proof of full-coverage insurance...

depends on the bank or how the loan was made out.

i think it was yamaha finance who said less then $10k you didn't have to have full coverage. so here you have a kid, who just bought an R6, of ocurse they can't afford coverage, so they get lia. only. and BAM they're paying on a bike thats wrecked or stolen.

or you get a personnal loan, and pay for the bike. you don't have to have full coverage that way.

Y'all are a tough bunch. The lady admits being wrong and down. Y'all continued to kick her.

I hope you learn from this financial penalties, the next mistake could cost lives. Be careful and have fun riding.

I cannot imagine not having insurance on something I'm making payments on... The only thing we've ever had liability only on were my scooter and my Ninja 250. However, both of those items could be replaced with cash and were not worth the extra $$.

true but if you finance through the dealer sometimes they don't require any at all, just what you need for legal requirements

get a lawyer and stop asking people stuff.. everyone here is being very mature for their age my cousin who lives in california got hit a few times by jack who dont have insurance and a few hit and runs. you end up the person who you hit if their insurance doesnt cover it. you might end up in court and have to pay big fines and for damanges cause to the other party if one was involved. what would only cost u 30-50 for a license and a few hundred for insurance is probably now going to cost you a few grand for a lawyer and fines.
