At least it has its own police department (7 vehicles including a police boat) and fire department. With plans implemented to have back-up brought in quickly from both Tiki Island and Hitchcock police departments. Crime is almost negligeable here, especially since they kicked out all the offenders

I think there are less cars now....well at least since they added the Charger to the fleet. Nice guys though, they sometimes escort me to my house when it's late at night

..in your example about the battered wife, there is more potential
'history' to examine. She could be a greater flight risk or considerably more unknown details playing into it.
I say he goes vigilante, "Punisher" style. Clean up the streets till he gets caught.

The FBI posted a statement on its Web site criticizing such use of its statistics.

"These rough rankings provide no insight into the numerous variables that mold crime in a particular town, city, county, state, or region," the FBI said. "Consequently, they lead to simplistic and/or incomplete analyses that often create misleading perceptions adversely affecting communities and their residents."

These stats were from their previous reports...

OVERALL (344 METROPOLITAN AREAS):
Most Dangerous 25:

22 Houston, TX

CITIES OF 500,000 OR MORE POPULATION: (32 cities)
Most Dangerous 10:

6 Dallas, TX

10 Houston, TX
