Good luck either way.
Next time buy a honda.
I fill up $75 in gas every three days on my truck. all this down tome has to be compensated some how. but i don't think they will go for that store. Worth a try though. LOL. i'm going to let my lawyer loose on them if they don't delivery but they should deliver. I'll get which ever 1000 cc bike takes 1st in ranking, if i return for cash, if not the new R6 should be good pay for all the trouble i had to go threw.

Re: My Bike is down for the Count

Unfortunately, typically neither Yamaha nor the dealership will give you a new motor.
It sounds as if the dropped something either in the valve train or on top of the piston, either way it's damaged. As it was the dealerships fault for bad workmanship Yamaha itself is not liable, the dealership is. If you want a new motor you may be able to get one by letting your lawyer handle it but it will likely take a good while and there's no guarantee.
I'd suggest meeting with the owner of the dealership, have your facts straight and present your case to him first and see what he'll do.
Good Luck, and if there's anything I can do to help please let me know.

Re: My Bike is down for the Count

LOL yea. Tried Every number possible that I could find to get to them. And there Corporate Phone here in the USA cuts off every time to get transferred by the machine to a person. Tried from home phone cell phone and office phone at work, not my phone its there phone.

I did get a phone call at 5 on Saturday from the other dealership that has my bike to call back so I did but they were closed . LOL funny huh. Maybe its fixed ??? 10 down 20 days to go.

If any one has a number or knows someone I can call please donít be shy!!!!
