You know even though they will probably be a dime a dozen they are still cool as . I mean everytime I see a vette I do check it out and I am sure I would with the new camaros too. Just knowing that they can haul makes you appreciate them.

That right there says a lot about you and cars. If you think a lotus elise is better than a vette, stick to buying your next play car new and not trying to build old muscle.

miata/solstice < elise < vette (even though I'd never spend that kind of money on an american-made car)

I try to buy american where I can so I don't have to wait three weeks for a part to come from the London or Stugart or Toyota factory to get my vehicle repaired. Also, the dealerships are in just about evey city over 10,000 across the US.

Although I have always been a fan of the Elise and the Esprit before that.

No, I mean that the Chinese - Brazilian parts are readily available all across the US.
My boss has a 750 that he purchased at the begining of the year. I have never seen a car break like this one. The had to drive a 535 for three weeks while he waited for a differential to come to Bavaria to change it out.
When my mom's tranny went out on her F-250, she had it back from Ford with a new tranny in less than four days.

NAH, i'd still choose the lotus over anything else, not nec. about the V-8 performance. I love the little car. It looks great, it's a head turner and it can get into places that old pos cobra cant

just my personal preference.

The fact. five cobra replica will take turns just as well as the tiny elise.

Hornet: yeah, I've seen that ugly little thing in the garage. It's there again today. The elise is just ugly IMO. Looks like a solstice/saturn/miata. Now the esprit is a nice car (even though I've smoked my share of those as well, lol).
