With Oil prices rising Oil Companies are resorting to desparate measures to attract employees like myself. This surge has created a boom in the oil sector and many companies are fighting for the same resources including competing on a limited number of skilled employees like myself. So as much as I hate Bush b/c he is an idiot. His efforts at fueling the war are definitely supporting my lifestyle and there are many that are in this business that see it the same way. Thats my take$$$$$$$.

Hmm...... Every time they come out with a new plan whether it was war, or medical, or other programs for senior citizens, it doesn't matter the dollar amount they give us because in a couple of months they will see their budgeting is wrong and add more to that dollar amount previously given.

do you think "projects" ever hit their budget or are under their budgets? the job i'm working on was orig. estimated @ $3.8billion, it's now $5b and still way early into it. it'll prolly be $6b come near the end. and this is 1 plant.

OOOPS. messed up your post. sorry. RacerX
