Well, we were planning on Deals Gap in April, so I guess we need to figure out when it warms up in Ar-Kansas...

Kind of off topic but, is there any good hiking and stuff like that up there?

I have a friend that lives in Conway.

Plan is trailer bikes up, drop off truck and trailer at his place, then ride the next few days from town to town, and then go back, load up and head home.

Same basic plan as upcoming Deals Gap trip....

That way I don't have to impose on him for beds, but the vehicles are parked in a safe spot. Also don't have to limit the routes to end up back there. Also have a way home in case anyone does something dumb and wrecks their bike.

Drawback is either have to rent rooms or camp along the way, which isn't a drawback actually.

Route 7 and 123 are on the list for "must see", where else?

Cool take the bike! There are a bunch of great roads around there, if you have any free time.

Hey TEXLURCH,
The www.tsba.org is heading to AR the weekend of May 16-19. It would be a good group to ride with. The Dallas chapter has some guys that really know the roads up there. They will run around 300-500 miles a day.
