i would look around for a curb and possibly a knocked over pole/smashed wall? another damaged car wearing its paint....

if the adjuster misses these facts he is not worth a and should be reported to his company...someone hit a curb? pretty hard to chunk a rim like that....and im speaking from experience.

fuccking jackasses.....

sorry to hear bout this amber-tell you buddy to be on the lookout or talk to the cops about other dammaged vehicles or reported hit and runs...
actually.....there's no damage to the core support....which probably means the fire or maybe explosion under the hood blew the hood open and caused that wrinkle in the front.

as for the rim.....the tires burned off and probably heated the rim, and those rims couldn't handle the weight of the car/engine in the front and shattered it.

also the tow truck driver probably broke what was left of the wheels when he winched it up on his flatbed.

but on another note....looks like an insurance job to me also.

doesn't look like nothing was taken.....so either insurance or someone didn't like the guy. but even if someone went though the trouble of stealing his car (because they hate him or whatever) you'd still think they'd make it worth it and take a few things from the car.

unless your friend is a dope dealer....and he had some dope in the car they wanted :dontknow:

It must have been burn out at a deserted place to be totally burn like that. If I hated anyone so much, I would not have steal the car and risk getting caught driving and burning it. That's two charges stack up, felony for theft and the other is vandalized misdemeaner. I would slashed up the tires and leave him stranded then I wait for his . Murdered his and place him in the car and set it on fire.

J/K. If you post this kind of story on here chances there will be non believer. Everyone will have an opinion or ideas how it happens. Only knows the truth.

someone pried the hood to look at the engine. That's how the damage to the hood and fender comes in.

Must have been a really good theif. Those particular cars have a chip in the key that shuts the fuel system off via the computer, not just starter kill like most cars, Insurance companies know this. Thats why texas came with the law about owner affiliated theft(if the keys are used).

Good call. Car theft is not easy as it is back in the days. You have to car jacked to steal the cars now.
