Same here. I have two 4 inch long plates, two 6 inch rods and 8 screws holding my left ankle together from jumping out of a C-130 (Military Aircraft) while at airborne school. The titanium never sets off the metal detectors at the airport niether. Oh yeah, did I mention I HATE cold rainy weather

you must have hit the ground hard! i bet you get cold really easily, huh? my bf has the same problem with the rod along his humerus...he alwas gets cold chills and its actually been hurting him lately. we should make like a "bionic rider" thread or something to see how many people on here have metal holding them together.

Got those Ti straps on both my radius and ulna on the left arm, and some nice Ti knee joints with nylon kneecaps, courtesy of Unca' Sam and the US Army. Any more DAV's on the forums?
