I never wanted to do it because I am more of individual and I don't like wearing vest all the time. Plus I would get a bunch of from the members for doing crazy stuff on the road and i get enough from cops and haters on their dang cell phones.

I've CHOSEN to stay "club free" for a very GOOD reason, I don't want the hassle! Club/Organizations are nothing more than a name and t-shirts a group of friends can get together without the need for name association!

No membership fee, no initiation stunts, no meetings. Best of all, doesn't required you to own a hoodlum/gangsters vest.

I think just finding 4 or 5 people that your on the same page with.. both in riding and interest is the way to go.. not so much formal club thing.. just my opinion..

Yep! I was in Ride Or Die, Heineken Hardheads, and Ruff Ryders.

I appreciated each club for different things, but all of them had their ups and downs, and a majority of the problems are diffrences when it comes to people.

For instance, this one wanna plan an outing to the strip club, but that 1 don't like that kinda club so there at odds on where to go. Or this guy don't like that guy for messing with his chic, or why i gotta be the only mo fo around here representing where is the rest of our club, and the most common difference "where is the money at" All are examples of down sides of being in a group, it's hard to please ev1, and most people handle that displeasure differently.

90% of the groups here in Houston aren't really groups/organizations at all, they're just a couple of friends who all wear the same shirt every once in awhile.

I ride with church groups from time to time.

Im not associated w them anymore because all of them are so discremitory to some degree and often fall apart every couple of years then rebuilt over and over.

Its nicer to ride w friends then people trying to ride for a church, sorry to say but children's minister speaking here....

didn't get the bike for others enjoyment. bought for self enjoyment. I will go on a ride around with a few of my friends or ppl I meet on here, but thats cause I don't memerize where all the roads are. just some of them. and don't want to have to stop and look on my gps phone for directions. (I follow a friend that knows the way)

Car/Bike clubs are for never needed to title myself or some of my close friends we are better than that.

i've got no problem with the whole bike/car club. i have met some cool people in a few of them, it's just not something i am interested in, but i won't bash them or call them just for being in one. if it's something you feel like you want to do then go right ahead and do it

i would never join one.

they just always seem like a money hoax to me. pay $200 for initiaition, pay $200 for a $40 vest, then pay big monthly dues.

something tells me that while some might go to some charity or at least pay for part of an event, i am thinking most of it goes to paying for the treasurers or the presidents tires, oil changes, etc...lol.

just so you can be the lowest guy on the totem pole. on the plus side you can tell all your friends that now your part of a club...

...and watch them all laugh at you for it!
