Gas will get more expensive (they are estimating up to 4$/gal already by next year) and I only see more folks get on bikes than the other way around.

In regards to its "danger", I know a lot of riders who have been riding for decades and no issues because they keep it sane. Keep up your skills by doing MSF exercises in the parking lot regularily, ride with your head and heart, if you do SMRs, do them with folks you trust and overall, ride careful and safe.

I believe one can ride a bike and be fairly safe, just ride defensively and don't go squidding around. Otherwise, accidents can happen to you in a car just as quick the same.

great looking sv spanish fly. makes me want a 2nd one. it seems like you are doing the right thing. I dont have kids yet, but when ever I talk to friends who do have kids, they always say that their priorities just changed....for the better. It may seem like a bad situation to you now, but think about it this way: Can you compare the feeling of holding your new baby, a little person you gave life and riding your SV? It doesn't make riding the SV any less fun, but that child is going to become your top priority.

if the wife is wanting you to put it up for sale, do it but list the sv at like $12,000. if you could get that much it'd be worth it but it won't sell... so you're "stuck" with it

Dana's first time on her new bike. Happy as can be, you will see her on some rides when she gets some good seat time under her belt first.
